A bit OBSESSED...
That's how I would describe myself when it comes to photography. I have been that way since day one in my photography class back in high school.
The moment I took a look at my first photos I never looked back. I just knew that becoming a PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER was what I was meant to become.
From there I followed my calling and received my degree in photography from THE ART INSTITUTE OF COLORADO.
The majority of my career has been shooting with a 4X5 camera in the studio. I focused on food and product photography. I had the pleasure to work with a top-notch food stylist, Jacqueline Buckner. A few of my clients were Whole Foods, King Soopers and Boulder Sausage.
In 2006 I took the leap into digital photography and changed my focus to larger products .... architecture and interiors. This has opened a new world for me.
When I am not shooting I am usually expanding my knowledge on the ever-changing world of technology.
My goal is to convey the special features and feel of every home or space. I try to show the true atmosphere of the building by keeping the lighting realistic.
I think every home, no matter how big or small has something unexpected to offer. It may be the sweeping lines of architecture or the original tiles on a fireplace mantle.
My unique way of looking at a home or commercial space is evident in my photographs. This, I believe helps the home standout from the rest.
A few of my current clients include: The Kentwood Company, Mesa Properties Custom Homes and Appalachian Construction.
I use the best and latest equipment and keep expanding my knowledge... producing the highest quality photographs.
I look forward to many more years of this exciting journey in photography and where it will take me!
Best,
Michelle
